Summer 2008 Part 1

Greetings from a 4 month hiatus from the blog. Summer has come and gone but work calls again. We are back in Korea and in full swing with work and school. I've attached a bunch of pictures below to look at. Part 1 is of the our 2 week roadtrip to Colorado and back. Part 2 is the rest of the summer with family and friends. Both blogs are a bit jumbled up with the picture order, so just know that it's not chronological.

After 2 days arriving from Seoul, we took off on a 2 week roadtrip. We took the scenic route through Montana and Wyoming.

So many buffalo.

Camping in Yellowstone near Madison. Jerry Garcia stayed next to us.

Brewing up some coffee in the morning.

Back in Spokane. The river was ragin!

Outside Anthony's Home Port restaurant with Jen's parents.

In Butte, MT. The Berkeley Pit is a toxic wasteland.

Breakfast camping in the Tetons. Sausages!

Morning in the Tetons.

This geyser had a funny name like Devil's Breath or something like that.

Camping in the Rockies. Jen looks tired but she still beat me in Scrabble.

We got breakfast and coffee at Copper Mtn Resort.

Our campsite in the Tetons.

In the morning, we had moose visitors.

A cool waterfall through a canyon in Southern Colorado.

Hanging out by the river.

We visited Ryan and Jolene in Denver for a night on our drive. This picture is at Red Rocks.

At the Great Sand Dunes. It was incredibly hot!

Toward the top. Make sure you don't wear flip flops in hot sand dunes.

What a unique place to visit.

Night out in Denver with Ryan.

At Jolene's parents house for breakfast. Her parents were very gracious hosts.

We stayed in Jolene's Dad's tricked-out garage. It was awesome! He even put in a bathroom.

Dinosaur tracks

The view from Red Rocks.

A geyser at Yellowstone

Can you guess the name of this one? Old Faithful.

Tetons from the car.
