Greetings from a 4 month hiatus from the blog. Summer has come and gone but work calls again. We are back in Korea and in full swing with work and school. I've attached a bunch of pictures below to look at. Part 1 is of the our 2 week roadtrip to Colorado and back. Part 2 is the rest of the summer with family and friends. Both blogs are a bit jumbled up with the picture order, so just know that it's not chronological.
After 2 days arriving from Seoul, we took off on a 2 week roadtrip. We took the scenic route through Montana and Wyoming.
So many buffalo.
Camping in Yellowstone near Madison. Jerry Garcia stayed next to us.
Brewing up some coffee in the morning.
Back in Spokane. The river was ragin!
Outside Anthony's Home Port restaurant with Jen's parents.
In Butte, MT. The Berkeley Pit is a toxic wasteland.
Breakfast camping in the Tetons. Sausages!
Morning in the Tetons.

Camping in the Rockies. Jen looks tired but she still beat me in Scrabble.
We got breakfast and coffee at Copper Mtn Resort.
Our campsite in the Tetons.
In the morning, we had moose visitors.
A cool waterfall through a canyon in Southern Colorado.
Hanging out by the river.
Peek a Boo
Near the Great Sand Dunes Ntnl Park
Campsite in the Rockies.
We visited Ryan and Jolene in Denver for a night on our drive. This picture is at Red Rocks.
At the Great Sand Dunes. It was incredibly hot!
Toward the top. Make sure you don't wear flip flops in hot sand dunes.
What a unique place to visit.
Night out in Denver with Ryan.
At Jolene's parents house for breakfast. Her parents were very gracious hosts.
We stayed in Jolene's Dad's tricked-out garage. It was awesome! He even put in a bathroom.
Dinosaur tracks
The view from Red Rocks.
A geyser at Yellowstone
Can you guess the name of this one? Old Faithful.

Summer 2008 Part 2
Summer Part 2
Well, we had another fantastic summer and a whirlwind vacation of fun with family and friends. You might be asking yourself, "where is part 1?" It's coming. This set of pictures is from our new camera; whereas, the first part will be from the old. The pictures are a little out of order but generally chronologic.
Tam, Zoe, Jen, Slywia and Kristin after some tasty Mexican food at Green Lake.
Kathy and Tim with their handbuilt truck. Awesome work Tim!
Tom, Kappy and Mom in front of Tom's boat at Shilshole Marina.
Yummy...shish kebabs at Jen's parents in Spokane.
Avery and me at the O'Donnells before Jackson and Jess' wedding.

Back at Rainier with Mom and Dad. (I told you they pictures were mixed up!)
Ah, our yearly visit to the Schreck's in Walla Walla. Schreck is dancing for Murphy.
BBQ at Chris and Zoe's in Seattle. Joe, Taylor, Matilda, Max and Owen
Chris is one talented croquet player. I've never beat him in 3 years of playing.
Annie and her boyfriend Mark. We had a nice time getting to meet him this summer. He seems like a great guy and they look very happy together. Cheers!
Kristin and Jen
Oh no...the truck died. We resurected her in the Tri-Cities with a run to Les Schwab. Yes, they did come running but no, there was no free beef. That is another month.
Avery putting on a show for us.
Avery and me
Chris and Max
Taylor - Stephanie and Dave's daughter
Back to Walla Walla for the 4th. We are drinking some cans of Colt 45. mmm...

Erika and Chloe
Chloe in her baby dancing thingy. She was really funny dancing around in it.

A bird's nest at the front door.
A happy family portrait of O'Dons, Avery, Tam, Jen and I.
Blue Angels in front of my parent's house!!!
There's Seamus zooming around.
We drove up to Vancouver to pick up Jess and Hugo for Jason and Kristi's wedding. The ladies had some wine but Hugo brought me some microbrews from Montreal to try out. They were good.
Ok, so Jen and I had this all planned out...once we hit the border we pulled out flags, bandanas and played the Star Spangled Banner for them. "Welcome to America!" (They are Canadian/Quebecers). They were gracious enough to go along with it.
Tim and Cam having a BBQ beer together.
Jen and Kathy
Hugo asleep on the car ride up to Jason and Kristi's wedding.
The entrance to the reception
Exchanging vows and rings. Beautiful couple and darn nice people. We wish you the best!
The very rare sighting of Hugo dancing. He tried to take the camera from me so I'll make sure to put it on the Internet.
The last pictures here are of a great hike back in Korea called Namhansanseong. We went with the Toms' and their friend Tom.
